Account information: name, email address, password, and optionally a mobile number with your consent for booking alerts.

Instructor profile information: experience, credentials, specialties, service areas, primary harbor, rates, photos and videos you upload.

Booking and messaging information: lesson dates, locations you describe, prices, waivers, reviews, and messages exchanged on the platform.

Usage information: pages viewed, searches performed and funnel events, plus standard technical data such as browser type.

2. How we use information

To operate the marketplace — matching boat owners with instructors, processing bookings and payments, sending notifications, and supporting reviews and disputes.

To keep the platform safe — verifying credentials, filtering contact details out of messages, and investigating reported issues.

To improve the product — understanding how people move through signup, search and booking so we can fix drop-off points.

3. What we never share

Your phone number and email address are never shared with other users. All communication happens inside Ravo.

Instructor locations are shown as harbor or region areas only; exact addresses are never published.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and to hold an anonymous session identifier used for first-party product analytics. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

5. Service providers

We share limited data with providers that help us run Ravo — hosting and database infrastructure, payment processing, and email delivery — only as needed to deliver the service.

6. Data retention and your choices

We keep account and booking records while your account is active and for as long as needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes. You can update your profile at any time, adjust notification preferences in your dashboard, or request account deletion by emailing hello@tryravo.com.

7. Children

Ravo accounts are for adults 18 and over. Minors may participate in a lesson only under the supervision of the responsible adult who booked it.
